Leaning or failing retaining walls
Grout injection can provide additional backing and support to existing retaining walls.

Understanding the problem
What you need to know.
How grout injection can help
Where site conditions allow, grout injection can stabilise the soil around an existing retaining wall and provide additional backing and support to the wall.
Grout can often be injected through small access points, reducing the need for extensive excavation. Some drilling or localised digging may still be required.
What it won't do
Grout injection does not straighten a retaining wall or return it to its original position. It stabilises the ground and provides additional support.
Fixing the cause, not just the symptom
Long-term performance depends on the cause of the original problem. Issues such as leaking pipes or poor drainage may need to be addressed alongside any grout injection work.
When to involve an engineer
Some projects require an engineer to assess the problem and specify the treatment. This is particularly relevant where a retaining wall is failing. Our site observations do not replace an engineering assessment.
